Paradise

If we left this town, we could walk the earth together
If you let me down, I will live in you forever
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you

If we could find a home, we could go through time together
If we could hold our own, devastate the night forever
There’s no place where we can’t go
There’s no place where I have been
There’s no limit I can show
There’s no level inbetween
Jolene, I could have seen you there,
Jolene, I need you everywhere
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you
Jolene, I could have seen you there
When I looked into your lifeless eyes, I saw you everywhere
There’s no place where you can hide
There’s no place that I can’t find
There’s no end to leave me clean
There’s no reason I have seen

If you find me on my own, you could live your life forever
Shall we leave our world alone, maybe we’ll go back or never
Jolene, I could’ve seen you there
When I looked into your lifeless eyes, I saw you everywhere
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you

I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you
I want you, I want you, I need you, I need you

O outro Fellini

Rock europeu, rock europeu
Uma punk varrendo, palácios e cores que falham
Você nem imagina o que você não conheceu
Agora é tarde, é tarde, meu saco já encheu

(profanos nos pequenos templos
o santo e o mistério de Lisboa
bateras no contratempo
velhas estrelas escrotas)

The Conductor

confident with your back to the audience.
tremelo strings begin with your gesturing wrist.
start the orchestra slow with an elegant aire,
then a circular sweep crecendoing swell.
leo slatkin, dohnanyi, previne, depaur

your arms are calling out,
they wave like a swarm of sound.
you pull the sound from scores of notes,
you step the stage and take control.

you’re conducting ver’ese in a moment of silence.
your body directs a pulse of wind.
von karajan, hampton, menuhin, levine

your arms are calling out,
they wave like a swarm of sound.
you pull the sound from scores of notes,
you step the stage and take control.

when i fall in love

maybe i’m old fashioned, feeling as i do
maybe i am living in the past
but when i meet the right one
i know that i’ll be true
my first love will be the last

when i fall in love it will be forever
or i’ll never fall in love
in a restless world like this is
love is ended before it began
and too many moonlight kisses
seem to cool in the warmth of the sun

when i give my heart it will be completely
or i’ll never, never, never give my heart
and the moment i can feel that you feel that way too
is when i give my heart to you

and the moment i can feel that you feel that way too
is when i give my heart to you

All Is Full Of Love

you’ll be given love
you’ll be taken care of
you’ll be given love
you have to trust it

maybe not from the sources
you have poured yours
maybe not from the directions
you are staring at

trust your head around
it’s all around you
all is full of love
all around you

all is full of love
you just aint receiving
all is full of love
your phone is off the hook
all is full of love
your doors are all shut
all is full of love!

I don’t know what colour your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you’re so, so long
And you don’t come from this town

My head is full of magic, baby
And I can share this with you
The feel I’m on a cross again, lately
But it’s nothing to do with you

I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive

This drug makes me crazy
Makes me see you more clearly.
Oh, baby, now I can see you.
Wish I could stop,
Switch off the clock,
Make it all happen for you.

I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive

OOOOH
OOOOH

Don’t know what colour your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you’re so, so long
And you don’t come from this town

My head is full of magic, baby
And I can share this with you
The feel I’m on top again, baby
That’s got everything to do with you

I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive

O Superman

O Superman.
O judge.
O Mom and Dad.
Mom and Dad.

Hi. I’m not home right now.
But if you want to leave a message, just start talking at the sound of the tone.
Hello? This is your Mother. Are you there? Are you coming home?
Hello? Is anybody home?
Well, you don’t know me, but I know you.
And I’ve got a message to give to you.
Here come the planes.
So you better get ready.
Ready to go.
You can come as you are, but pay as you go.
Pay as you go.

And I said: OK. Who is this really?
And the voice said:
This is the hand, the hand that takes.
This is the hand, the hand that takes.
This is the hand, the hand that takes.
Here come the planes.
They’re American planes. Made in America.
Smoking or non-smoking?
And the voice said:
Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night shall stay these couriers
from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

‘Cause when love is gone, there’s always justice.
And when justice is gone, there’s always force.
And when force is gone, there’s always Mom. Hi Mom!

So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
In your automatic arms.
Your electronic arms.
In your arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
Your petrochemical arms.
Your military arms.
In your electronic arms.

Laurie Anderson explica porque as pessoas, tontas, têm medo do anarquismo.

How fucking cool is that? Anarco-taoísmo. É apenas genial.

Mister Bob Dylan e a simplesmente magistral Subterranean Homesick Blues:

Johnny’s in the basement
Mixing up the medicine
I’m on the pavement
Thinking about the government
The man in the trench coat
Badge out, laid off
Says he’s got a bad cough
Wants to get it paid off
Look out kid
It’s somethin’ you did
God knows when
But you’re doin’ it again
You better duck down the alley way
Lookin’ for a new friend
The man in the coon-skin cap
In the big pen
Wants eleven dollar bills
You only got ten

Maggie comes fleet foot
Face full of black soot
Talkin’ that the heat put
Plants in the bed but
The phone’s tapped anyway
Maggie says that many say
They must bust in early may
Orders from the d. a.
Look out kid
Don’t matter what you did
Walk on your tip toes
Don’t try no doz
Better stay away from those
That carry around a fire hose
Keep a clean nose
Watch the plain clothes
You don’t need a weather man
To know which way the wind blows

Get sick, get well
Hang around a ink well
Ring bell, hard to tell
If anything is goin’ to sell
Try hard, get barred
Get back, write braille
Get jailed, jump bail
Join the army, if you fail
Look out kid
You’re gonna get hit
But losers, cheaters
Six-time users
Hang around the theaters
Girl by the whirlpool
Lookin’ for a new fool
Don’t follow leaders
Watch the parkin’ meters

Ah get born, keep warm
Short pants, romance, learn to dance
Get dressed, get blessed
Try to be a success
Please her, please him, buy gifts
Don’t steal, don’t lift
Twenty years of schoolin’
And they put you on the day shift
Look out kid
They keep it all hid
Better jump down a manhole
Light yourself a candle
Don’t wear sandals
Try to avoid the scandals
Don’t wanna be a bum
You better chew gum
The pump don’t work
‘cause the vandals took the handles

Polizei

Right about now NWA court is in full effect.
Judge Dre presiding in the case of NWA versus the police department.
Prosecuting attourneys are MC Ren Ice Cube and Eazy muthafuckin E.
Order order order. Ice Cube take the muthafuckin stand.
Do you swear to tell the truth the whole truth
and nothin but the truth so help your black ass?

Why don’t you tell everybody what the fuck you gotta say?

Fuck tha police
Comin straight from the underground
Young nigga got it bad cuz I’m brown
And not the other color so police think
They have the authority to kill a minority

Fuck that shit, cuz I ain’t tha one
For a punk muthafucka with a badge and a gun
To be beatin on, and throwin in jail
We could go toe to toe in the middle of a cell

Fuckin with me cuz I’m a teenager
With a little bit of gold and a pager
Searchin my car, lookin for the product
Thinkin every nigga is sellin narcotics

You’d rather see me in the pen
Then me and Lorenzo rollin in the Benzo
Beat tha police outta shape
And when I’m finished, bring the yellow tape
To tape off the scene of the slaughter
Still can’t swallow bread and water

I don’t know if they fags or what
Search a nigga down and grabbin his nuts
And on the other hand, without a gun they can’t get none
But don’t let it be a black and a white one
Cuz they slam ya down to the street top
Black police showin out for the white cop

Ice Cube will swarm
On any muthafucka in a blue uniform
Just cuz I’m from the CPT, punk police are afraid of me
A young nigga on a warpath
And when I’m finished, it’s gonna be a bloodbath
Of cops, dyin in LA
Yo Dre, I got somethin to say

Fuck the police
Fuck the police
Fuck the police
Fuck the police
